I have recently discovered a new morning routine for productivity that has become significant for me. In the past, I had a similar routine, but I was not aware of it, and it was not intentional. Over the past few years, I have tried to maximize my productivity by refining my morning routine for productivity to achieve better focus and efficiency.

The Struggle with a Late Routine

I used to wake up late in the morning and go to bed late, around midnight or one o’clock at night, often waking up at 10:00 or even 11:00. My routine was like this, and I would only wake up earlier if I had something important to do, which was maybe once or twice a week at most. Most of the time, I would wake up at 10:00 or 11:00, resulting in very low daily productivity, which made me unhappy. I realized that I needed a morning routine for productivity to improve my focus and make the most of my day.

The Power of Waking Up Early

Recently, in February 2024, I decided to wake up at 07:00, and I noticed a significant increase in my productivity and energy levels throughout the day while completing important tasks. It was astonishing for me. If you haven’t tried waking up earlier, I encourage you to do so, as establishing a morning routine for productivity is vital for maximizing efficiency and leading a meaningful life. There are numerous health benefits associated with this change, although I am not a doctor and cannot elaborate on them.

Adding Exercise to the Routine

Another change I made after establishing this morning routine for productivity was incorporating simple exercises at home instead of going to the gym. This also contributed to higher productivity during the day. However, I initially thought that simply waking up earlier was the key. In the past few days, I skipped my morning exercises and noticed a drop in my productivity. While it was still better than before, it did not match the levels I experienced during the initial days of my new morning routine for productivity.

Learning from Setbacks

Today, I reflected on this and felt disappointed. I reminded myself that when I first started waking up at 07:00 and following my morning routine for productivity, my productivity was significantly higher. I decided to reintroduce my morning exercises, as I had found them beneficial during the early days of this routine. After exercising today, I experienced the same productivity levels as I did at the beginning, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a consistent morning routine for productivity.

A Positive Shift in Mindset

After adopting this new morning routine for productivity, it really impacted my mood and mindset positively. I became much more positive and energetic, and I can now handle difficult tasks more easily. My mindset has expanded, and I have taken on tasks that I had never started before. They were only in my mind and in my plan books, but I had never begun them. This morning routine for productivity has given me the strength, willingness, and willpower to tackle any difficult task. This is very important for me.

My Recommendation for You

If you are looking to maximize your productivity during the day or if you find yourself lacking energy, procrastinating, and wasting time on social media, I recommend trying this routine. It is incredibly beneficial, especially for those of you working on your own projects or businesses, particularly if you do not have a traditional nine-to-five job. This routine has been life-changing for me, and I hope it will be for you as well.

Q: What challenges did you face with your previous routine, and how has waking up earlier and following a morning routine for productivity improved your efficiency?

A: Before adopting this new morning routine for productivity, I faced significant challenges with my tasks. I lacked the energy and motivation to start my day because I often woke up late, around ten or eleven in the morning. After having breakfast, my energy level would drop by two or three o’clock, as my peak energy lasted only until then. Therefore, I realized that I needed to tackle important and difficult tasks in the morning. Waking up earlier and following a structured morning routine for productivity has greatly enhanced my efficiency and focus.

Q: How has your new morning routine affected your social media habits and the way you consume news and entertainment?

A: Prior to this new morning routine for productivity, I spent a lot of time on social media and the internet, scrolling aimlessly. Now, after adopting this routine, scrolling through social media feels meaningless to me. I no longer feel the need to keep up with the news around the world, as it no longer satisfies me as it once did. In the past, I found it satisfying to read the news and stay updated on global events, as well as to watch comical videos and memes. However, these activities no longer bring me joy. Thanks to my structured morning routine for productivity, I can now easily control the time I spend on social media and focus on more meaningful tasks.

Q: Did you face any challenges when trying to wake up early for the first time?

A: The challenge I faced while trying to wake up early in the morning for the first time was not significant. I felt excitement about the day ahead, which made it easier for me to wake up. The night before, I was eager to rise early. I planned to wake up at 7:00 AM and looked forward to having breakfast. Before going to bed, I thought about the excitement of the morning. Therefore, there was no specific challenge for me in trying to wake up earlier for the first time, as I was motivated to establish my morning routine for productivity right from the start..

Q: How did your previous routines impact your overall well-being and productivity?

A: My previous routines affected my overall well-being significantly. I usually went to bed late at night, which led to drinking less water during the day. Drinking less water can greatly impact our health. My mind felt cluttered, and there was a lack of clarity. The momentum was low; whenever I tried to start a task, I didn’t have the energy to keep up.

My focus, particularly for deep work, was not good. Overall, my previous routine had many negative effects on my well-being.
After adopting a structured morning routine for productivity, I noticed a significant improvement in my focus, energy levels, and overall health. Waking up early and following a disciplined routine has allowed me to be more intentional with my time and well-being.

Q: What is your daily schedule, and how do you prioritize your tasks for maximum productivity?

A: I decided to complete three tasks before 02:00. The first task is to research and write about my book, aiming for 1,000 to 1,500 words. The second task is to write an article for my blog. The third task is to record a video for my YouTube channel. These three tasks are the main tasks that I plan to finish before 12:00.
At 12:30, I will have my lunch. After lunch, I will stop my video editing at 1:30. I will finish my editing and publish it by 03:00. After 03:00, I am free to do whatever I want.

Q: Do you plan to maintain your new routine in the long term, and what motivates you to continue with it?

I do plan to maintain my new routine in the long term. It provides me with health benefits, a high level of productivity, deep work ability, and higher momentum. These benefits motivate me to sustain this new routine over time. I am really excited to wake up every morning. It has been about sixteen days since I started this new routine. The excitement, benefits, and rewards I receive from this routine enable me to continue with it in the long term.

Q: Can you describe a typical day in your new routine from waking up to starting work?

A: Here is how I describe a typical day in my new morning routine for productivity, from waking up to starting work. First, my wife wakes up prior to 07:00, maybe around six-thirty. She prepares breakfast, and I wake up at 07:00. After having breakfast, I do light exercise at home and then start my tasks. I read for about half an hour, focusing on my favorite books. After that, I begin to write or organize my book and conduct research for my new book.

This process takes until 10:00.
At 10:00, I write an article until 11:00. From 11:00 to 12:00, I record a new video for my channel. I have lunch between 12:00 and 01:00. From 01:30 to 03:00, I start editing and finish my video to publish on my YouTube channel. By structuring my day around a morning routine for productivity, I ensure that my most important tasks are completed efficiently.
